For its first birthday celebration, The Noosh (Canberra’s mid-week explosion of drag, burlesque, comedy, poetry and queer performance) set out to transform Fun Time Pony into an immersive, high-energy, one-night takeover. With full ArtsACT funding secured, the team wanted to level up production value, branding and promotional impact to match the scale and spirit of the event.
Brand Rebellion was engaged to create a cohesive visual world that captured the raw joy, organised chaos, and community-driven creativity that define The Noosh. Our task was to craft an instantly recognisable design direction, build anticipation across social channels and ensure the event space was as bold and expressive as the performers who brought it to life.
Approach
- Developed mood boards and three design directions capturing The Noosh’s eclectic, high-energy aesthetic.
- Built a visual identity that brought The Noosh’s first birthday to life with boldness, grit and humour aligning with the show’s legacy of pushing creative boundaries.
- Created a full suite of event collateral including posters, postcards, sticker sheets, T-shirt design, fans, social media tiles and promotional assets.
- Designed large-format event signage such as the 3m media wall and venue banner, transforming Fun Time Pony into an immersive party environment.
- Delivered a suite of high-impact social tiles and stories to support phased rollout: early hype, lineup reveals, countdowns and final ticket pushes. Templates ensured the Noosh team could continue creating on-brand content throughout the campaign.
