Bryden Campbell, the Founder and Managing Director of Brand Rebellion, has been honoured in two award categories at the recent Canberra Women in Business Awards: the ‘ACT Government Canberra Small Business Woman of the Year’ and the ‘Commonwealth Bank Canberra Business Woman of the Year’. This achievement reflects Bryden’s journey of entrepreneurship, resilience, and empowerment. It proves that breaking stereotypes and challenging the status quo of balancing career ambitions with family life is possible.
“Brand Rebellion is more than just a business; it’s a dream realised amid chaos of disrupted routines and sleepless nights after the birth of my second child, when I faced a critical decision: return to the comfort of a full-time job or take the leap and pursue my dream. I chose the latter,” said Bryden Campbell. “To see it be recognised and acknowledged by the business community, I feel incredibly humbled and proud,”
Brand Rebellion, co-founded by Bryden and her husband David Campbell in February 2022, has rapidly garnered attention for its innovative solutions and unique approach that bridges the gap between brand promise and workforce actions. With a focus on enhancing employee experience and customer engagement, Brand Rebellion stands out in the consultancy landscape by combining the creativity of agencies with the strategic problem-solving skills of consultancies.
Bryden’s vision for Brand Rebellion was born from a desire to address the disconnect that often exists between a company’s core purpose and its brand identity. With over 12 years of deep-rooted experience in branding and marketing, Bryden has dedicated her career to creative communication and championing the significance of a unique point of view. Fuelled by a passion for collaborative teamwork, she has worked on influential campaigns for local and federal government, innovation enterprises, and SMEs, and she continues to drive Brand Rebellion’s mission to reshape the future of work.
“We’re all taught that brands promise value to their customers, but what about their employees? Value isn’t just about perks. It’s about creating an environment where people want to show up, be their best selves, and not just live for the weekend. Through my experiences, I realised that value goes beyond transactions—it’s about staying true to your promise, both to your customers and your people.”
